Creating a project

Context

After the OData Perspective is selected as detailed in the Opening OData Perspective, the next step is to create a project.

To create a project proceed as follows:

Procedure

  1. Click Start of the navigation path File Next navigation step New Next navigation step Other End of the navigation path.

    The Start of the navigation path New  Next navigation step Select a wizard End of the navigation path window appears.

  2. Expand the General folder and choose Project.
  3. Click Next to proceed.
    The Start of the navigation path New Project Next navigation step Project End of the navigation path window appears.
  4. Enter a name for the project in the Project name field and click Finish to create the project.
  5. Either use the default location for the project, or uncheck the "Use default location" check box to specify a location of your choice.
  6. Select the "Add project to the working sets" option to select a working set using the Select button. You can also create a working set in the "Select Working Sets" window
  7. Click Next to see the Project References window..
  8. Select a referenced project of your choice and click Finish.
    The new project is displayed in the Project Explorer region.
